Aston Villa's Alan Hutton is on the verge on signing with the Spanish side Real Mallorca on loan for the remainder on this season.
If he passes his medical the Scottish right-back will complete the move today.
The 19th placed Mallorca will have the option to sign Hutton on a permanent basis in the summer if a deal then could be agreed.
Hutton has fallen out of favour with Paul Lambert and as failed to feature in his first-team squad this season.
