West Ham midfielder Alou Diarra has returned to France to play for Rennes on loan for the remainder of the season.
Diarra joined West Ham in the summer but has spent most of his time being injured and growing in discontent with his position in the team.
Sam Allardyce and the 31-year-old managed to discuss their issues and it led to the midfielder leaving the club temporarily on loan.
